20.02.2012 Chiara second in Grand Prix

Chiara and Ludger Beerbaum
A half year ago Chiara (auction horse 2007) has changed stable and is now being ridden by the famous German, Ludger Beerbaum, one of the world’s best show jumping riders. Yesterday Ludger rode the nine year old mare for the first time in a Grand Prix- and this very successful. The pair was clear in the first round in the Grand Prix of CSI*** Neumünster, a 1.55m class, and qualified for the jump-off. At the end Chiara and her rider finished second behind Andreas Kreuzer and Chacco Blue.
In the press conference after the Grand Prix Ludger said that Chiara “has amazing technical abilities” and that “he’s upbeat about the horse’s future”. We will keep our fingers crossed!

13.02.2012 Ricarda and Aska victorious

Ricarda and Aska
The sportive highlight of the third day of the "Keppelner Jumping- Festival" was the 1,20m class with jump-off. 15 of 56 participants were clear in the first round and qualified for the jump-off. One of them was Ricarda Tippkötter with her young mare Aska. In the jump-off Ricarda and her eight year old mare were the last pair, showed a super performance and suspense peaked out: They showed a respectable fast round, where rider and horse harmonized and cooperated on a perfect way. At the end, Ricarda and Aska won this class with two seconds ahead!
Laura and Titanium showed an impressive demonstration in the first round (it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop!) and qualified also for the jump-off. The young Amazon took the sixth place in this class and can be very proud again.
Congratulations, girls!
13.02.2012 Youngster successful in Keppeln
On Friday the youngsters had their first show in 2012. Our new rider Caroline Jordan has worked very hard and intensive with the young horses in recent weeks. The performance in Keppeln confirmed that Carline and the horses got to know each other on a brilliant way. Caroline presented beautiful, soulful rounds; all horses showed consistently good performances and got several placements:

08.02.2012 Next clinic in April

My next clinic will take place on April 9th - 11th, 2012 (Monday-Wednesday) at my stable in Goch (Germany). Students receive extensive flatwork training, so they learn to properly exercise and school their horses, develop feeling and timing, and improve their style and position.
Further emphasises are gymnastics, jumping course- sections and at the end jumping a whole course, like on a show.
You can find more information under the Topic “Clinics”.

07.02.2012 Girls competed at CSI-Ch/J/YR Roggel

Laura and Titanium
Last weekend my daughter Laura had her first international show. With Titanium, a four legged professor, the eleven year old Amazon competed in the Children-Tour at the CSI-Ch/J/YR Roggel. We all were absolutely excited by her concentrated and stylistic rounds in all three classes; she behaved so experienced and cool. Unbelievable! On Saturday Laura and Titanium finished third in a 1.15/1.20m class. By the way- she was the youngest participant. Respect, Laura, we are very proud of you!

Aska and Ricarda
Ricarda Tippkötter showed very well rounds in the classes for Young Rider. With the eight year old mare Aska Ricarda was clear in a 1.25m class and in the Young Rider Grand Prix she was qualified for the jump-off.
Carolin Becker can also be very satisfied with her own performance and the presentation of her mare Prudence de Beaufour: In the small Young Rider Grand Prix the pair had only one fault.
07.02.2012 Auction horses reached the top sport
They did it… Former auction horses of my stable succeed in the top sport and reached the highest level! The older, more experienced horses fascinate in Grand Prix on international top shows all over the world and have their homes in stables of the most successful and famous riders. The highly talented youngsters attract attention in classes for young horses and earn highest scores and results:

02.02.2012 Satisfied with the first show in 2012
I’m very satisfied with the first show in 2012. During CSI** Roggel all horses showed very good performances and confirmed our training schedules, even they had some light and unnecessary faults. Polly Pocket had her first show after a tima and jumped very easy and impressing in the high classes of the Youngster Tour. Adriane, seven year old mare, impressed with her lightness in the high classes. Both mares were very motivated and we’re looking forward to the season to present the high quality youngsters on shows.
Tourbillon van de Zuidhoek was again in top form.
Christine and her four legged athlete were without a jumping fault in the Grand Prix. Unfortunately one time fault prevented the qualification for the jump of. Nevertheless they were placed (again).
Stay On had his first (international) show and showed good performances. The gelding just need experience, but for sure he will become a guaranty for results very soon.
25.01.2012 ... He makes my heart beat faster!
… this is talent! On Sunday the five year old gelding Balou (Balou du Rouet x Casino) showed a lot of quality and scope during free-jumping. It’s particularly pleasing that the youngster jumps even exquisite under the saddle compared with a great rideability. My hearts beats faster and I’m delighted to have such a good youngster in my stable!

17.01.2012 Break is not a break

In the middle of December all horses of my stable are enjoying a well-earned break of shows. This doesn’t mean that the stable is closed, quite the contrary is going on: The young horses are enjoying well thought out training exercises with a lot of work with pools, Cavaletti and distances. The youngsters are all highly motivated during the daily work and present themselves in a good mood and quite fresh at the daily-changing tasks. The abilities of the horses are individually supported and the rideability is refined. Everything is carried out with a lot of fun for rider and horse, so it is not boring, even it is work. The first shows for the youngster will begin at the end of January and we are excited to see how they are presenting theirself.
The experienced, older competition horses are kept in a good mood with light work under saddle, relaxing at the lunge or running freely in the indoor. It’s just important that the horses are satisfied, because only then can they perform well.
The whole team take great care of the welfare of the horses, so that they’re not missing something in the winter break.
13.01.2012 Goodbye Daniel, welcome Caroline

After one and a half exciting and successful years, Daniel has left my stable and went back to America. Over there he will start his own business with his fiancée. At this occasion I would like to thank Daniel for his commitment during the time at my stable- he exercised the young horses with lots of passion and motivation and showed them on shows successfully. Daniel also trained the young rider with a lot of enthusiasm and sensitiveness and brought out a lot of substantial progress. Thank you, Daniel!
Since the beginning of the year Caroline Jordan is new in our team. The Dutch woman takes over the exercising and showing the youngsters and undertakes the training of the rider at my stable. Caroline has a lot of experience in training horses and rider, she demonstrated her abilities already nationally and internationally.
The first two weeks of cooperation have been already very positive, Caroline fits perfectly in our team and embodies our philosophy. Horses are her passion and the animals have absolute priority during all work.
